White Bird in a Blizzard Review by Eingya – MUBI

Gregg Araki wears his influences on his sleeves directing a Twin Peaks-ian melodrama without losing his 90s indie edge. Extremely enjoyable, especially thanks to the great soundtrack and a delightfully hammy performance by Eva Green. Also, while the direction as a whole isn’t perfect the framing is all around beautiful. Ah, also the ending twist is absolutely fantastic.
